MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

A Front Row Seat

Charlie downloaded the tabs yesterday to Tell Me Baby by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've loved listening to him learn it. I've become a huge fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers since Charlie has begun playing them...I'm an even bigger fan of Charlies. :) Love this kid. Anyway, he let me record him practicing it.

I can't believe they go from drooling to practicing guitar in what most say is short time.

Great job Charlie!

PS Kitty’s tail was a cute touch.

rosemarie ~ yeah, I was holding my little camera with one hand and petting Gato (one of the cats) with the other so he wouldn't keep going in front of the camera, lol.

nancy ~ me too, now. I'd never listened to them before, but now I love them. He was a little shy on the video, he usually gets a lot more 'physically' into playing. :)

What talent! To play both, 6 string and then bass! Totally impressed with this and his technique. Red Hot Chili Pepper's is hard to play---for bass guitars----wow! Is he in a band yet??? He needs to be if he's not! Unbelievable---great job!

Talented kid. Are you sure he's yours? LOL. My oldest, the Class President, is on the court for the King and Queen thing. I'm pretty sure it's for King. They find out at the game who gets the thingy...homecoming deal...Their football season has kind of sucked, but the kid is good with it...all that matters.

dabich ~ awww, you're so sweet! Thanks, I'll show him all the comments here.

lovelladro ~ more sweet words, thanks!!

deb ~ lol, I know you've got a soft spot for Charlie, the two of you are kindred spirits. He's been asked to join the church band and he's accepted. It's a 'rockin' church, he'll fit in well. :)

clay ~ I'm really learning to appreciate them!

333 ~ lol, yeah, he looks just like me. Only taller and more talented. How cool about Tommy!! You gonna be there? Need a date? I'll fly up. ;)

NICE! He seems so much more comfortable playing now. Last time he let you show us his talent, he was still very much in the begining stages of his guitar career. Great job Charlie! You too Kathi for supporting and fostering his dreams.
Love you!

Very cool. I need you to tell me how to do that. I have lots of videos but don't know how to download them to youtube. Is it hard?
