Me
I'd told deb the other day that I was so proud of her for being able to post a video of herself on her blog, that I could never do that. Well...I'm going to step waaayyy out of my comfort zone and post a video I'd sent to Tom on my cell. Just to let y'all know beforehand, any nasty comments will be deleted. :) Except for Tom's, of course, I'm use to his.
Oh, and the sound is off (running a few seconds behind) and I don't know how to fix it. Sorry.

I could hear you talking, and boy did I think that your voice was going to be different!!!!!
I understand the whole going into Wal-mart and leaving shocked at the amount of money that was just spent. I can't walk out of that place without spending at least $100.
I'm glad that you were able to step out and do this. Thank you for sharing this with all of us!!!
It's about time Girl!!!!! How long have I been after you to get a better picture of yourself for your blog. Divorce looks good on you! I was just thinking yesterday that it has been about 3 or 4 years since we have seen each other would we even recognize each other. I couldn't get this little clip to work maybe you could email it to me. I couldn't get the last one to work either. Maybe it's the Mac thing vs PC. You look great!!!!
michelle ~ really, what did you think I'd sound like? :)
Yeah, Wal-mart is like one of those love/hate relationships.
katy ~ girl, you're crazy. I'd recognize you even if I was blindfolded and in a room of a thousand strangers and you. Did you get my card?
Support group for shopping at Wal Mart? I think they call it a shotgun. One shell will do ya. Kidding, but I cannot stand wal mart. The people that work there suck, and in no way that I find manageable. Would you shoot me an email and tell my how you embedded a u tube onto your blog? Thanks.
Am I crippled and stupid? I couldn't see the link to the video. Very cool new avatar though, quite lovely.
tom ~ triple t's...lol. I can't believe you don't shop at wal-mart at all, ever. You must have a whole lot more money than me. Oh wait, yeah, you do.
garrett ~ yes hon, I hate to be the one to tell you, but yes, you are. LOL, honey... Click on the video in the middle somewhere near that great big arrow, then click down on the bottom left arrow by the round circle. If I've used words to big for you, I'll send you a dictionary.
Fixin to link you under my favorites, so keep up the good writing on your blog.
Hugs darlin'
I guess I thought you would have more of a Texas accent. I know you grew up in Indiana, but you've been in Texas long enough for the accent to have rubbed off on you.
The words you write are definitely "Texan", so I thought you would have a voice to match!!!
hey Kathi!
Loved it!
Oh...I just want to thank you for your sweet comment about my poems
being good enough that I should check into getting a column in my local paper...maybe I will!
I have been so busy this weekend I have had no time to respond to my comments, so I am responding to you here...you are the best Kathi!
I really love how you always say such kind words about my poetry!
Thank you so very much!
You are a sweetheart!
And you are sooooo cute!
michelle ~ I asked tom about what you said, he said that he'd thought the same thing before he heard my voice. He said that he thought because my writing was "strong" that I'd have a heavier, deeper voice...and more of an accent. Hope I'm not a disappointment to y'all. Sorry, I'm just me.
suzy ~ thank you. :)
margie ~ babe, I read your comments on your blog, EVERYONE loves your poems. It is nearly freakish how you can put one up nearly daily and they all have meaning that just about everyone can relate to. I have no idea how you're able to do that.
Oh, and thank you, you should really look into getting your monitor fixed though. LOL :) Hugs!
i can't see the video until i visit othercat but i wanted to tell you i'm proud of you for doing something that's hard for you and?
i see exactly why you're proud of your kid in the post below. what wonderful choices he's making.
interesting what it says about his friends that they accept him as he is.
Loved the You Tube thingie! You sound texan enough for me LOL.
And you're adorable ;)
Just you is jsut fine...
Oh Kathi...you have a wonderful voice...I definitely didn't mean anything negative by what I said. But like I said before, I just expected it to be different.
People tell me constantly that they can't believe that I am from Louisiana because I don't have much of an accent at all either. You are PERFECT just the way you are!!!
sass ~ thanks, and that's a good point about Charlies friends.
dabich ~ awwww, you like me!! :) Thanks.
michelle ~ darlin', I'm just teasin' with you. I've heard myself on the answering machine and I always surprise myself by my voice...it actually does sound a lot deeper in my head.
Perfect? Me...c'mon, now...that's just crazy! LOL HUG'S!!
Oh girl I love the new picture! And how cool is the youtube thing? Awesome!
Nice. :)
The new picture sure looks a lot different from the old one! I'm not sure I would have realized it was the same person if you didn't tell me it was...
kidd ~ thanks, a bit step for me (for both the pic and the youtube).
3 c's ~ yup, well, that's the original picture from when I first started my blog, nearly two years ago. It was long over due, I guess (according to katy, lol) that I put a new one up. This one was from Saturday.
I rarely go into Wal-Mart because I come out will all sorts of stuff I don't need. I don't know why it happens, but it does.
I stay away from Wal-Mart (bastards) sorry...and Shell and McDonald's. My wife goes to Shell and Wal-Mart (bastards)...sorry! I'll never tell people to stay away from any supplier/retailer. My choice to boycott is my own, no one elses! However,I would just like to encourage everyone to make informed choices about where they do shop. Informed choices can only be made through education. Yes, money is tight...especially for Super-mums doing it on their own, but imagine your little children teathered to a sewing machine in a sweatshop for 12 hour days in China....know your dealer!
leesa ~ yeah, buddy! I'll send the guys with a list most of the time (to the store) and they always stick right to the list. Me...not so much.
spoke ~ I understand what you're saying, and there are definitely places and things I stay away from on principle. With that said, feeding and supplying my kids with the necessities does come before my principles, and unfortunately I'm not at a place financially that can afford that luxury. But hey, contributions to help me be able to do so are absolutely accepted. :)
Good job! :D
heart ~ thanks. How'd that meeting go yesterday?
I am so in love with this video! I now have the itch to put one up! That may be coming soon....
I am with you on the support group except Target is my downfall... I will see you at the meetings!
I expected a much thicker accent.
WHERE DID MY COMMENT GO? Jeez. This happens to me a lot. Well..here is what I think it said:
"I cant watch the video..but WHOO-HOO..who is the sexy broad in the picture??"
;)
That's you? nothing like I thought in my head. Thanks for sharing....
