MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

Friends, Gifts and Lot's of Love

Settle down, I know how excited y'all get when I have pictures. Yeah, I'm kidding. But, regardless, that's what I've got for y'all today.

First, I have a picture of my guys with Abi. Y'all see her comments and I've talked about her before with a few pictures. She and her brothers grew up with my kids and they were always around playing ball of some sort in my front yard. I have to laugh at that, because back then, I couldn't grow any sort of grass in my front yard for all the ball playing. Now, I've got a great front lawn, but truth be told, I miss the kids. Oh, wipe the tears and look at how cute Abi is.

We couldn't get Casey to stop 'cutting up'. Isn't Abi adorable? There was a time when she was bigger than my boys.

After church, Casey said he was going to run an errand and would see me at home later. When he got home, I was on the phone and he put a sack next to me. I opened it up and there was this card that brought me to tears. After that, there was a beautifully framed cross. Pictures? Absolutely. :)

I am so blessed with these kids I have. I love them so much!

aw who is that cutie?!?!? LOL just kidding, i miss playing ball in your front yard, those were the best days of life as a kid. Wish I could go back to those days sometimes. First we tried to Casey to stop acting up, then I tried to get Charlie to smile, some what. They are so big, and yes ONCE i was bigger than them, not anymore.

love you guys very much

oh and guys you should have seen Kathi's face when she showed me her card, just priceless. One of those kodak moments that you need right there, with a bright shiney smile on her face, she is very proud of her boys, you wouldnt even know it.

xoxo

Your comment about grass made me think of a, I think, Family Circle cartoon several years ago. A neighbor commented about the yard, and the father replied, "We are busy raising children not growing grass." Something like that.

You are who you appear to be. That's good to know, I though maybe you were someone else. If that were true I would have to question who I was, what I was doing in the world, even why we all exist. So, by you being who you appear to be it really saved a lot of trouble.

Aw, that is too sweet for words. Your older son is certainly not your average teenage boy. Very sweet. My favorite part - That he put his last initial after his name, to make sure you know which Casey the card was from. :)

You've got some great kids. :)

I see how it is...Abi gets pictures taken when she stops by but I don't...sheesh! ;)

Also, on another note, that was very sweet of Casey...you have 2 very wonderful kids :)

oh yeah, and I remember being bigger than them too...now I feel so short standing next to them! (I'm still taller than Abi though!! at least I'm pretty sure, lol)

shawn ~ awww, c'mon, yesterday's thing on marketing was funny. Nearly as funny as you rollerskating down the freeway, lol.

leesa ~ most of my saved cartoons are from Family Circle...loved them, and that one was right on the mark.

bb ~ have you met my friend tom?

3 c's ~ isn't he adorable? The thing with his signature, he always signs everything that way...he say's it's his trademark, lol.

nikki ~ honey! I thought about that the minute you walked out the door last time. NEXT TIME!! Yup, you and abi were quite the pair. I do have two great kids, somehow they turned out great in spite of me. Must've been the neighborhood. :) :)
