MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT
I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

Now that is the sweetest thing I have ever seen.
I love manly men that have soft underbellies.
*sigh*
I want my very own John Gebhardt.
anne ~ me too, babe, me too.
I just read that article elsewhere this morning, and my heart broke for that little girl who lost her entire family and is seriously wounded...but how sweet that this man took the time to comfort her.
What a guy.
nancy ~ I know, what is going on in the world? Thank God for men like Gebhardt.
Yes, Kathi...
Thank God for men like John Gebhardt!
He is a wonderful man!
God bless him!

Win their hearts and minds, and then kill them when they get older. It has worked many times in wars past. It will work again.
anon ~ I don't see this man doing anything to win hearts and minds, but merely trying to comfort a child.
I have seen this article before, but even so it still chokes me up. He is truly a "Real Man" and one that I am thankful for as he sacrifices his life for our country.
I love this article - that is so cool. We need to see more of that - I'm sure it's around - he can't be the only one.

Group hug?
anne and kathi? me THREE!
oh and two things: pour cold water not hot it actually melts the ice better. and i usually just kick the shit out of my car at the edge of the door or try the passenger door or whatever and crawl into the drivers seat.
and casually me your blog is broken
michelle ~ amen, darlin', amen.
edith ~ I'm sure there are others that just don't get caught by the camera or journalist. For the record, thankful for them all.
tom ~ that'd be great, can you arrange it?
sass ~ anne and I would welcome you in a threesome anytime, lol. ;)
sass ~ now you tell me? I did kick and push and shove all 4 doors. They were all stubbornly frozen.
Awesome article Kath! Thanks for posting this.
deb ~ you're welcome cutie.
shawn ~ yeah, I know. How sad is that?
I'm sure this man has children at home that he is separated from, and in reality he's receiving just as much comfort as the child.
glad you like this article
xoxo

Hey,
I found a fellow blogger from your website-blogs, blood, b.s. and brains. I enjoyed visiting his site but now can't find it. Do you know what happened to him? Hope he's okay.
anon ~ yup, he's better than okay, nothing to worry about and hopefully he'll be back to entertaining us all soon with another blog. If you want to send me your email addy, I'll forward it to him.
