MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

OOOh! I LOVE Kansas. Here we are in Derby, near Wichita. In June, Fay and I are gonna ride the tandem ACROSS KANSAS! It'll take a week. The ride is called BIKE ACROSS KANSAS. Funny that? We have some pretty flat country in Oz too!

Mine is Ohio! Man that state takes forever (give or take) to get through. Adam lived in Indiana and I lived in Maryland so when we drove back and forth, Ohio was always the bane of the trip!

Question for you...and be honest....Have you ever tried sushi before?

The worst thing to hear is someone 'hating' sushi and had not ever tried it before.

This mean I can't bring you to my favorite sushi bar when you and your family come up to NY????

anne ~ ewan? ewwwww...sorry, now I've got to see a pic of hot doc!!
And you're welcome, and yeah...I do know.

lovelladro ~ EXACTLY!! It's like being trapped in the twilight zone, the state that never ends.

deb ~ yes, of course I've tried it. How would I know otherwise? We go to sushi restaurants here because Mark and Charlie love it. We even have sushi bars in our grocery stores and my fridge is always full of it. Just not my thing. Even loving shrimp as much as I do, I don't like it wrapped in seaweed and rice and stuff. I do, however, LOVE wasabi.
And everyone in Texas is suppose to love Nascar? A little stereotypical of you, don't ya think? lol, I hate it! But, Mark loves it. He's going next Sunday and is in the Loews guest tent and box, meets Jimmy Johnson and all that crap. He did a little dance when he told me about it, so cute.

crystal ~ s'okay, I love ya anyway. :)

sass ~ you just lost a bunch of points in my 'cool people' book, but I'll give you a chance to make them up, LOL. Girl, you've got to be kidding about loving underwire? I mean, c'mon...just the name sounds barbaric and torturous.

(This will be a run-on sentence...) Pink is a wonderful color, but purple pisses me off...least favorite is halloween, I thought you Texans loved dressing up as normal...I have never had sushi, but I think I know what it tastes like...Paris Hilton is a film legend, duh...Nascar would be a sport if they could just turn right...Rats are the backbone of the criminal justice system, or at least on the Shield....Oh, you like COUNTRY AND WESTERN...Monopoply does suck...the last one with the phone and the door and the crying, if I didn't know you better I would swear you are anti-social...lol...

cm ~ lucky I love ya or I'd tell you to kiss my ass. (this, too, will be a run on) The color pink sucks and doesn't ever really look good on anyone...Texans are the least dressed up and most down to earth people in the country with tee's, jeans and boots or sneakers being the norm, so get real...you think, thus you'd be wrong...figures you'd think Paris is a legend rather than a train wreck...Nascar wouldn't be a sport if they could do flying flips in the air...I said non-domesticated rats, try and keep up...the only thing I like less than country would be country AND western...and swearing I'm anti-social would make you correct for the first time today. :)

I like your nose, dammit! Well, I gotta go. The phone's ringing, and someone in a pink underwire bra's banging on my door with a crying child. (Why they don't use their hands, I'll never know.) Sorry. Groucho Marx moment.
