My T.V. Night
I love Tuesday nights. Two of my favorite shows, The Shield and Boston Legal are on. I so enjoy watching Boston Legal with my 16 year old, Casey. We laugh all the way through it, gotta love William Shatner and James Spader, well, we do anyway. Then I watch The Shield when Casey goes to bed. Tonight's episode, awesome. And, of course, once again...I've got to say it, it's got my favorite guy...Michael Chikilis. Mmmmm, baby, baby, baby!

I don't know any of these shows. Tues & Wed nights are my "American Idol" nights...
Kathi...my hubby and I watched it together last night and Laughed and Laughed...we woke up the kids! The look on Kavanaugh's face....and when Vic patted Acevda with a snotty "Councilman" we almost died. And WOW what an expensive fit he threw at the end....all the equipment on that desk...the Chief won't like that!
deb, American Idol. We watched that too. I love watching people make a$$es out of themselves. Do these people not have real friends or family that love them? I don't get it, but I love it.
kathi, We stayed up late last night watching all of our shows. I love the DVR! We watched American Idol, then House, then The Shield. A great entertainment night. (And, now I am anxious to get home to watch Gilmore Girls on DVR, along with the 1st Night of Hollywood week on Idol.)
I don't have a TV night. Drats. I want one, but nothing seems to catch my interest. I like Gilmore Girls, but I don't love it. I like 7th Heaven - but it is so cookie cutter. I guess I need to find something else.
Every since that one post you wrote on hot guys, I always think of that guy. He really is cute. But I never know his name. Ofcourse I do now..lol.

leesa ~ I've never seen Gilmore Girls or 7th Heaven, but if I had to pick out a show you might like, I'd pick Related. Have you seen it? Try it and let me know what you think. Smart and sexy...just like you.

im bored outta all the shows; most are running their 3 or 4th season. But wait...Will&Grace still beats them all for me. :-)

brainsyke ~ darlin, there is no way you can tell me that B.L. or The Shield bore you. Funny, that I'd not find anything on your blog to argue about but I'll argue about a couple of tv shows. LOL. I watch Will & Grace occasionally, mostly in reruns late at night. They make me laugh when I need it. :)

And ofcourse Friday nights .. "Friday Night Smackdown" - not to mention Monday nights (i hate it but there's Monday night Raw on TV)

I actually like court tv, discovery, or the history channel at night...when I do actually bother to watch anything.

I've watched the shield since season 1, though not religiously or too closely ... I guess I was channeling the Chikilis character when he was around Glenn Close's character, when he had to pretend that he wasn't a dirty cop LOL

kathi, I tried to set the DVR to record Boston Legal last night, but ........ My Gilmore Girls, American Idol, House, and The Shield don't allow me to record it. I set it to record "all" not "new" so it will grab the re-runs and encores.

I usually turn on Tv to feel relaxed and have a laugh. I've been tuning to Comdey Central a lot lately...next fav. is discovery! and umm...and while flipping channels, I pause for Sponge bob for a few minutes. :-I LOL

ive never watched those shows -- i have to admit i have been converted to reality TV and rarely watch shows w/ storylines
Kat I'm sorry but I haven't had a TV night since I was a little kid in the 80's. Television sucks these days. It hasn't been a very good show on to me since the mid-nineties. Plus the networks ignore the minority viewers so I don't even give their shows my time. The cable shows may be okay but I am sick of liking a show then turning around to see it's cancelled. Thank goodness for DVD players, computers and books or I wouldn't haven't anything to take up my time. LOL!
Kat, I've been meaning to ask you. Did Storm quit her blog? I tried to visit it a while back and now I can't find it. I loved her posts, man!
Though as a non-American I am unable to comment on your shows, but your writing style is captivating enough to have enticed me.
I say it all the time, The Shield is the BEST show on TV, regular or cable. Hope all is well.

Ckilikis.... I'm soooo not a woman. I don't get his appeal at all. Of course, I don't think I've watched TV with the sound turned on but once (Stuporbowl) since November.
Interestingly, they don't seem to harder to follow with the sound off.

I also watch Lost which is pretty entertaining.
My wife turned me onto Greys anatomy which I will watch on Sunday.
Surviver has always been on my top 5 list.
I watch beauty and the geek with my daughter along with wife swap.
(we have TIVO so we wait till the show is tapped and then fast forward past all the commercials)LOL.

Ok, so I am going to get to take the DVR to a new level as of next Saturday! I have been having trouble with my dish, it is on a telephone pole, and it gets windy here. Let's just say Dish dropped the ball on trying to remedy the situation. Sooooo, I am going to be a proud customer of Time Warner Cable soon. I prefer to have DVR on at least 2 televisions, so when Hubby has to watch his wrestling I can watch what I want on another TV. I only watch shows if they have been recorded, I hate commercials. Soo, I will have 2 DVR systems on Saturday, and each records 2 shows at a time. I can fit all my Tuesday night shows in now! I know, get a life, but I'm excited. Even Boston Legal.

I've got to stop watching those god-awful one hour shows and make the reality tv switch. hehehe :-) there's still time to catch "the fla.vor of l.ove" before it's too late.
Too busy tavelling to watch much TV Kathi, but some of it in Argentina are US shows with Spanish subtitles.
Fay likes to chill out and watch a few shows. Think CSI used to be one of her favourites. Gee you sure got some comments on this one eh?
In a hostel in Buenos Aires at present. Collect our 3rd kid (Debbie) tomorrow all going well. That´ll be awesome to have the family of 5 together for 4 weeks. Pray for unity. Deb is the only one of our kids who knows and loves the Lord. Pray for opportunity. God bless you.
I still can't get over the fact that Shatner actually won (or was he just nominated?) an emmy! I mean he was always known as the greatest overacter of all time...still, ya gotta love Bill!
