Part Two
*I want to say, before this second video, that as much as I love and relate to these videos, that I'm uncomfortable with the end message 'Christian no more'. I consider myself a Christian, and always will. I do understand, however, the reason behind transitioning the term to Christ follower. I'm concerned that many people believe they must be like the man in the suit to attend Church, and because they're not, they stay home. With that said, hope you'll enjoy the video and receive it's message.

I like the message this is sending out. The last part...heh, it can't be perfect. I would have liked some fire trucks, pyrotechnics, cleavage, and loud music. However, I like that in just about everything. In all seriousness, love the series so far.
tom ~ you're my buddy. Thanks.
Yeah....kinda weak ripoff of the mac commercials, but yeah I completely understand and identify with the casual dressed Christ follower. We call the other guy, the Country Club Christian.
I like the message, but it's also not our responsibility to judge where another Christian's heart is. It IS our job to point out their shortcoming and sinful nature. There are still folks who are old school Christians, and it's the only way they know.
johnnie ~ I guess I'm just the odd ball. I like the take on the mac commercial. And, I see it as being a great example of exactly what you're saying. The guy in the suit is judging the other guy, simply because he's not like him...not the other way around.
Believe me, I have no problems with 'old school', love old school religion. It's just that appearance does not equal faith.
Hmm, not sure why it says, "Christian No More" at the end of it... but it sure gives a great view of how each Christian is different. But the guy on the left reminds me of a NICER version of what I sometimes get on my blog. God doesn't look at your clothes or a certain look in order for you to go to church. In fact, my church now is staying home and worshipping Him.
Each relationship with God is different. I loved this video Kath!
Thanks!
Hi Kathi
Love part 2...awesome!
Thank you!
You are the best!
Love this one too!
deb ~ I saw these videos the day I sent that one to you about Christians judging. These all remind me of the guy that comments on your blog. Love you too.
margie ~ hey sweetie, I'm glad you like it...and YOU'RE the best. ;)
crystal ~ so good to see you back, glad you liked it.
I still like.... cuz I totally get "it". That's all that matters. :)
People should come as they are to worship. As they grow they change...we should not judge....great video...of how not to treat people.
wes ~ thanks, glad you like "it". ;)
rose ~ thanks. For whatever reason, they hit home to me.
Who knows Kath, maybe it's him! (ha) But I wouldn't ask him out for coffee though. (Like the previous video.) My lattes are way too flamboyant for him! ;)
Kathi
Just stopping by to wish you a wonderful weekend!
I'm not going to be posting again till Monday!
My new best friend is taking up most of my time, but I love it.
I don't even have time to respond to my comments.
Oh, you got it about my poem Nowhere...I too had Heaven in mind!
Blessings to you!
May God bless you
And keep you in His care...
And may He be near you
To answer every prayer!
In my line of work, I sometimes have to take care of customers through direct calls.
The ones that kill me are the ones that have "and may God bless" on their answering machines.
Why? Because these are the most bi-polar, angry parasites out there. Just sayin'.... and well.... another reason why these vids are so awesome....
:)
deb ~ I'll share a latte with you anytime babe. :)
margie ~ really? You painted a perfect picture for me. Hope your weekend was wonderful.
wes ~ LOL, babe...I end my message on my cell with 'God loves you'. I actually may be bi-polar, but angry parasite is just cruel. LOL, too funny.
I'm an old-fashioned Presbyterian. I just now started to allow myself to wear slacks to church. However, we are not flashy as a general rule...we always look for a seat in the back row and sing softly. My husband, on the other hand, comes from the fundamentalist side...speaking in tongues, loud music, etc. I actually prayed to get through a service at his church the first time I went! LOL I know now there are many styles to worship and I appreciate the louder, more relaxed ones because they don't judge me for wearing a dress or not singing loud.
Great videos...they make you think!
Nancy ~ yeah, I come from the athiest side, so it was all new to me too.
Ya know, seems to me, if one judges at all, especially by clothing, then one isn't a true Christian. Just sayin...
I like the video. I definitely get the message. The guy in the right is not a "traditional" Christian. This video was definitely interesting.
