MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

:)

I know I stand alone here, but that's nothing new to me. I love this guy, and the words, the message...and yeah, even the delivery sometimes takes my breath away. I know my taste in music is eclectic, so don't bother telling me my taste sucks. It's just different. :)

Waiting for pictures to appear to tell me who you like (music-wise).
Fay and I spent a few days at Branson, Missouri. Great Country Music place, but we also saw BROADWAY, THE PLATTERS, SHOJI and countless others. A most enjoyable musical entertainment opportunity. I sure love the BROADWAY stuff and I'm old enought to enjoy the Platters.
In Kansas till 13 June when we get shunted out of this country and fly to Canada to satisfy immigration!

Chicks think Eminem is hot? Triumph the Insult Comic Dog took him out at the MTV awards some years back, and he just sat there with his fingers on his lips...brbrbrbrbrbrbrb. THAT was funny. Mr. "I'm a badass" gets told off by a puppet and doesn't know what to do....hahaha

johnnie ~ it was humor and he took it like we all would've, what would you've thought if he got up and beat up a puppet? Well, that would've been kind of funny since the puppet was Triumph.
I know, it's a matter of taste. You and I both think Frodo is ADORABLE, so I know we've got some opinions in common. :)

I am with you Kathi... I think he is very talented and has a lot to say... I wish he left out some of the explectives and violence towards Kim but all in all, the man is talented ;~) And the fact that he is good looking doesn't hurt ~

tom ~ you've just gotta break the rules, such a rebel.

johnnie ~ I know, me too. :)

sass ~ you can't?? Now that's just plain sad. I'd loved him, it's why I saw the movie and loved it too.

lovelladro ~ yeah, I know. I thought about that when I was putting it on this post...sorry if I offended, but I do still like the song and they don't have an edited video, so went with it. And yeah, he's a cutie. And I sure don't approve of the violence, but sometimes without some divine help, people never go beyond what they know. Unfortunately, that's what he's known.

Like, love, hate, whatever.

Talent lives where it wants, and those with it, don't need no votes.

His stuff is tight, and that's just the truth. Oh, and you rock.

This is my first time stopping by your blog. I like it.

I have to say Eminem is definitely talented. That is one thing you cannot take away from him. I do think because he is so talented, he is starting to get bored.

I think everyone who commented is just seeing the fact that you posted an Eminem song. I think there is more to your post than just the artist you picked.
I agree with your choice of song for it's topic alone.
I guess we are at a point in our life when we realize that life is not just about what is in it for Us but also for the people who need us. Often times I stop and say man what if I just stopped caring about my job and if I lost it or if I was taken from this world.. Who would take care of my family and the people and reasponsiblities that I have? That scares the heck out of me.
I guess I do OK. I spend time with my family. I manage my daughters fast pitch softball and We go out on the boat in the summer and snow skiing in the winter and we watch scary movies together. So when I see this video I wonder if I spend enough time with her .. Did I give her enough "underdogs" on the swing? I like to think so. I don't want to be sitting around in my golden years regretting anything like not being there for someone who needed me.. I feel your the same way. Good job sticken around. This may be a strong position but I believe that suicide is the easy way out. It's for weak people who think of only themselves. Selfish people who are not strong enough to finish. They have no regards for the mess they leave behind. I know that drugs and alcohol can cloud the minds eye and make it hard to realize what is real and what is not. It fogs up your perception and makes you think paranoid thoughts. Until people get away from that scene they are putting themselves at risk. It take a strong person to take control of their life and get off the drugs and alcohol (if they are the problem) and deal with life. I think you and I have both done that So believe that I am proud of you.. If it matters..

big bill ~ hey guy, long time no see. Really nice to hear from you. And yeah, it matters. Thanks. :)
