MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

List of Seven's

I've figured out why I don't like to do lists... I am so boring. No, honestly. Ask anyone that knows me, I'm the most uneventful person in the world. Hey, I don't mind it, I went through turmoil from hell to get to this point, so I enjoy it. But, sweet Jan tagged me, and I love her...so, here goes:

Seven things that attract me to my husband:
1. He loves me so much.
2. I love his laugh.
3. He's an honest man.
4. He's a generous man.
5. He lifts me up.
6. He's a great dad.
7. He's my best friend.

Seven Things to Do Before I Die:
I'm not cheating here, but I'm okay with 'going home' at any time. Other than maybe cleaning my house...I don't feel like there is anything I need or want to do before 'going home'. Really, I'm ready and looking forward to it.

Seven Things I Cannot Do:
1. Lie
2. Cheat
3. Steal
4. Kill
5. Hate
6. Understand bigotry
7. Cook (I'm thinking this should have been # 1. But looking at them now, there's no order)

Seven Things I Say Most Often:
1. Love you.
2. Hi Honey.
3. Hey Baby.
4. Do you have any homework?
5. Have the animals been fed?
6. Do you have your phone and wallet?
7. Do you need any money.

Seven Books (or Authors) I Love:
1. The Bible
2. Janet Evanovich
3. Linda Howard
4. James Patterson
5. John Grisham
6. Catherine Coulter
7. Debra Terranova

Seven Movies I Would Watch Over and Over Again:
1. A Knights Tale
2. Princess Bride
3. Meet the Fockers
4. Bandits
5. Malibu's Most Wanted
6. Fargo
7. Clay Pigeons

Seven People I Tag To Do Seven Sevens:
Don't panic ~ not going to tag anyone. But if you want to do it, I'll read it!

I can honestly say that I didn't expect to see "Malibu's Most Wanted" on a list of repeatedly watchable movies. Kathi, you never cease to amaze and surprise.

Wow, we have a lot of similar tastes in books and movies. Only there's one movie I'd add to that list: Anne of Green Gables. The author or the story is Canadian, and the film is, by far, the greatest movie I've ever seen (and the novel's even better). I would definitely see you loving it Kathi. If you haven't seen it, you have to check it out. Trust me, you won't be dissapointed!

kyuball ~ C'mon, it's a funny film! And, it's got an innocence about it. Yeah, I'm full of surprises.

grace ~ I usually don't like period pieces (though, I listed Knigts Tale and I loved The Patriot). I'll rent it this week and let you know.

jan ~ Thanks, and yup, you can sure tell I've got kids at home!

Thanks heaps Kathi.

All 7 and we'll watch them fall
They stand in the way of love
And we will smoke them all
With an intellect and a savoir-faire
No one in the whole universe
Will ever compare
I am yours now and u are mine
And together we'll love through
All space and time, so don't cry

mia ~ thanks, sweet of you to say. Nice to meet you too, glad you found your way here. I love Vegan Mom's blog. I'll be by to check yours out.

deb ~ burger? Unless it's a veggie burger, you're on the wrong blog hon!!

michelle ~ if we got seperated at birth, I want to know how in the hell I ended up with the manson family and you look so normal??

deb ~ I'm putting you in a time out...get back in the closet. LOL.

shannon ~ I'll be by to read your list. The authors: Patterson is usually about some street savy cops, pretty popular author. Howard and Coulter, romance thrillers, Evanovich is my all time favorite. Makes me laugh OUT LOUD and everyone I know that reads her says the same thing. She rights a series of books about an italian female bounty hunter that has a couple *smiling here* of bad boys in her life and the kind of luck I can relate to. Really, get one of her books.

How's the ankle?? Hope Greg is taking good care of you!

I always see you over at Charles X. So I thought I would check you out I am glad I did. I hope to do the List of 7's when I have more time. I hope you feel better soon. Here in Ca, they said the traffic was flu-light. (Because everyone is staying home sick.)

I need some money, too. Can we hang out together so you can ask me from time to time if I need money? It would be a bonus if you asked me if I had my phone and wallet, since I forget those a lot. Don't call me "baby" though. That would be a little weird until we got to know each other better.
