A Small Mistake
If y'all actually read this boring, day to day life of mine, you may remember that we recently bought Charlie a new guitar ($800, expensive for us for a non-birthday or Christmas gift) because his old one broke and was no longer under warranty. Found out this past week that the guitar was, in fact, still under warranty. So, we're taking it up today for repair or replacement. I'd went to file the receipt for the new one and found the warranty for the old one. Yes, I had looked there before (*Katy*), but apparently not good enough. I was a little hesitant about telling Marko, but he wasn't bothered at all and said that he was glad we'd got him the new one. I don't know how I got this guy, but I love him.
So, I've slept in late today and now we're on our way to Guitar Center and grab some lunch (I'm thinking Pei Wei :) ). Be back and blog at y'all later.

Y'all are awesome parents to be so supportive like you are!
Our son bought a small guitar called a charanga (I think) while we were all in Peru a couple of months ago. He's now home in Oz. We get back on 7 Dec. At least that's the plan. Trip is half over for us - 5 months gone!
this is great...now he can have 2 axes, and they can have alternate tunings. Most of the heavy bands drop to non-standard tunings anyways. Just make sure you do it right....but he'll love it!!
Whoops...sounds like something I'd do. I tend to misplace things, and find them just after the fact...(like a coupon that just expired, and a receipt that's just over 90 days...)
thats good that you told Mark, b/c then you wont be keeping anything from him. glad you found it, next time look harder, like my mom would say
abi
Alright, enough with the Pei Wei already!! How bout the felafel? Afraid yer gonna get some culture, whitey?
So now Charlie gets two guitars? Awright!
Okay so I'm writing from another computer, sue me.
crystal ~ could you please make that into some sort of needle point or something to hang around here, just to remind my kids now and then.
keasty ~ you're living the dream, very envious of you. :)
johnnie ~ yeah, I'm glad he'll have the extra electric, and I hope he'll keep up on his acoustic to, though.
abi ~ now sweetheart, do you think I'd keep anything from Mark? LOL, yeah, you know me. :)
tom ~ OMG, Pei Wei was soooooo good, mmmmmmmmmmmmm. :)
Actually, I just bought a coupon book from the local sports assoc. that has a bunch of coupons for the restaurant I keep trying to get to. Mark said he'd go with me cause he didn't think the guys would like it.
Yeah, where are you?
hi Kathi,
first time to comment, but have read for quite some time.
So I've decided I want YOU for a mom. If I follow you home will you keep me? LOL
Thanks for the comment :-) It's nice to know I'm not the only one. :-)
well, maybe they'll give you credit for something else or else he gets two have multiple tunings.
considering howlong i spend watching the guitars tune while my drum waits patiently? sounds good to me!
:)
i think mark feels the same way about you you know.
I agree with Lisa..can I come live with you? You dont have to buy me a guitar or anything. :)
You make me crave Pei Wei so much..I just called AD and told her we have to eat it for lunch tomorrow. Odds are I might see you there huh?
lisa ~ I'm so glad you came by, cause I just loved reading all your posts! You and I have so much in common. I hope we'll be great blog buddies.
sass ~ they say they'll either fix it or refund what we paid for it nearly 3 years ago. Cool.
And as for Mark...I hope he does, all signs are good, anyway. :)
anne ~ hon, if possible, I'll buy you whatever you want. I love you.
And Pei Wei was soooooo good. OMG, it was the best! It's my favorite place in the world to eat. Please get the Mandarin Kung Pao shrimp, you don't have to get it spicy, and ask for the udon noodles instead of rice
you have a great family...
and you are a great mom.
I love Pei Wei too...I always go
there with my daughter when she
visits me... the food is yummy!!!
samuru999 ~ right back at'cha. And babe, you do have great taste (so do you go for the spicy stuff too?)
Seems you worried for nothing! :) I HATE when that happens. Then again, I don't worry that much, so I guess it's got to be leveled out somehow... :)
You deserve a day off, not just a sleep-in!
Me, myself, I'm back at work, doing what I apparently do best - slave!
Plus, if I utter the words "Oh, don't worry about it" to another person today, I will climb up a church tower with a rifle...!
heart ~ NO CHURCH TOWERS!! LOL, too funny. Yeah, I like your idea about a day off...hmmmmmm, wonder how that would work? :)
doh!
Yeah... I love the spicy stuff.
And, I do believe I will go there for lunch today... will invite my
hubby to join me
dzer ~ how ya doin??
samuru999 ~ me too!
What a great site
