MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

To my wonderful buddy Kathi.

I got one word for you.

thief.

ROFL.

But seriously, we should all spread the word, so thank you for helping.

Love you,

Lisa

This is just sad. And you're both right. The word needs to be spread.

I don't get it. Is there a punchline? A reason for this? Come on someone help me out here. Is it just some random shit off the internet?

Lost is definitely lost.

Random? Please. This was a great message Kath. It's sad, but it's so true that we do the things that our parents once done or someone we looked up to.

My parents smoke. I took up smoking when I was 12 yrs old. Luckily, I quit when I was 23.

My parents drank.

I drink.

My father has a bad temper.

So do I.

My father is usually sorry afterwards.

Me too.

My mother has anxiety.

My mother's a worrywart.

GEEZ, I've become her! (Those words you never want to hear coming out of your mouth!)

What a powerful message. Someone pass this on to Oprah -- who has millions watching her daily. Good grief!

Confession: I'm a work in progress, but I know that there are certain qualities that I must work harder at so that I’m not a clone of the bad and the ugly. I'll take the good, but y'all can keep the rest!

PS I’m adding this link via your post everywhere!

I couldn't agree more with the message behind this video. If only more adults were better role models for their children...imagine what the world would be like!!!

Wow. That was powerful, not to mention eye-opening. Children see so much this day in time, and then we wonder why so many turn out the way they do.

Thanks for sharing this Kathi.
A powerful messgae, indeed.
What we are, we teach our children!

I'm missing you much Kathi.
Yes, I'm still writing even though I'm not posting.

You know you were one of the first to come to my blog last June, and I knew right away what a dear, kind person you were.

When I think of you...I always smile.

Love you much!

Margie
