MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

No Need For Notes

I'm enjoying this new series going on at our church, Fellowship Church. When y'all have some time, watch a few bits of it. The series is 'Good n Angry', about the positive kind of anger. Get something to snack on and put your feet up. It's a fun time, honestly. Our pastor is too cool...enjoy.

Cool stuff. Now if only my church of about 100 and change would "go live" on the web! :)

wes ~ really? 100? I love those kind of churches except it's harder to go unnoticed and I'm pretty much a wallflower.

cm ~ yeah? and when is it you'll be doing it big here? I forgot the date.

Very interesting concept kathi!

Now I'm off to channel my anger into getting some laundry done...specifically permanent press...which always pisses me off.

Seriously.

I think it needs to be referred to as permanently needs pressed myself.

Wish me luck!

I just let go of some anger and negativity I was channeling. Man Kathi I am disappointed in myself. I let someone else's negativity bring me down. I never ever wanted to give someone that much control. You can check my blog to see what I mean. I love my career but every so often you realize that not everyone accepts or welcomes you like you believe they should. Well, I don't care. I'm not dwelling on it. I am just thankful that there are good people like you and I in the world. If not, it wouldn't be worth living. Also, I started moderating comments now. A lot of folks are doing it plus I am attracting a lot of new visitors. That's good but in order to keep things in line I wanted to be able to make sure the comments are respectful etc. Some new folks don't know how to act, LOL! Also, since my blog is getting more popular I wanted to do this to ensure a peaceful environment for blog pals like you. I wasn't comfortable with just anyone being able to pop on. You never know when someone is a jerk. I wanted to make sure order stayed in place.

Hey Kathi, thanks for posting this. I love your pastor. I'm sure I'll be checking out the sermons from now on. I need to take a Sunday to Sunday Texas trip. Start out in Houston in the Osteen Dome, and end up in your church for a little Stand Up Christianity. That would be fun.
