MY LIFE AS I LIVE IT

I'm a single mom with two great kids living near Dallas, Texas. This is my life; day to day things that are probably only important to me. This is my record of my ups, my downs and the road that I've taken along the way. For whatever reason YOU'RE here, I hope you find something you can enjoy and/or relate to. God bless.

...And He Takes The Bronze

This is my baby, otherwise known as Charlie, otherwise known as the 3rd place, bronze medal winner of the Arlington Invitational JV. How proud am I? I can't begin to tell you, it's amazing! There were eight Dallas metroplex area high schools competing in this invitational, and my baby came in 3rd! How cool is that? His second competition ever. He won three of his four matches.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE

WOW!! Congrats Charlie, and beaming, proud mom!

What grade is he? Are we looking at a future state champ once he gets some seasoning and more time on the mat?

kudos again!

State Champ? Bronze in his 3rd match sounds like wrestling scholarship to me. (Which sounds like mom and dad get to keep their money.)

Wow, second time out and medaling....thats awesome. You might want to consider sending him to summer camp and off season tournament participation. Nice way to get a free ride to a school. Trust me on that.

I noticed something interesting hanging on the wall over your computer behind that good looking proud boy of yours. Nice to see it's not stashed in the back of a closet. Thats the most exposure any of my work has ever had.

Congratulations Charlie!

That is so great that you just started wrestling and you already got a medal!

I remember my first medal after we lost a softball game, it was a metal bottle cap my big brother gave me after the game. He said I know your team lost, so pretend this is a gold medal for trying, so I did and it made me so happy that it made me cry, until my big brother smacked me on the head, so I stopped crying.

Congratultions again, Charlie, Kathi!
